Hello and happy Friday to you! I hope you're all doing well. I figured I should put up a post since it's been what..three weeks? Sigh. I don't know what's with me lately. I guess I just haven't been feelin' it. I'm having a lack of creative inspiration or some such thing. Maybe it has to do with winter...I don't know.
It seems like the moment January arrives and the holidays are a thing of the past, my brain starts to think of Spring and sunshine and flowers and all that goes along with that.
Awhile back I purchased some vintage pink books from Tracey at French Larkspur. I'd been meaning to photography them, but never got around to it until now. I bought some roses, mixed it all together and this is what I got.
Very soft, sweet and feminine. I love the color of these flowers. It reminds me of the peonies I love so much. I keep going to the florist hoping to see peonies or ranunculus, my two favorites. No luck yet though. I always wonder what they think when they see me coming...probably dollar signs considering how often I'm there to buy flowers :)
Hope you all have a warm and cozy weekend!

Beautiful photos, as always. I love the vintage books!!! I'm always eager for the new year, but a couple weeks in and I'm feeling blah. I think I have such high hopes for January and get bummed when it doesn't work out like I expected. Also, I'm so ready for spring and some color outside my window!

Such beauty here, Tricia!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the after holiday feeling. For me, here, I think it is because the longest, coldest part of winter is still ahead, once the holidays have passed. With this past week being well below 0, inspiration is truly hard to come by. But I know spring will get here eventually, so I just count the days. :-)
Have a wonderful weekend!
